Don't Wait If You're Hoping for a Cheaper iPhone 15 Pro

If you're unhappy with the iPhone 14 Pro Max's price point, you may not want to wait for the iPhone 15 Pro or iPhone 15 Pro Max.

A leak from micro-blogging site Weibo claims both iPhone 15 Pro models could see their price jump up. The blog doesn't specify how much of a jump we could see.

Wedbush analyst Dan Ives also thinks there will be a price jump. Ives accurately predicted the iPhone 14's price jump in international markets so there's probably something here.

Jeff Pu, an analyst at Haitong International Securities, believes the iPhone 15 Pro Max will be more expensive than the iPhone 14 Pro Max. The iPhone 14 Pro Max starts at $1099.

Bloomberg also says Apple is "considering" raising the price of the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, this despite a projected decline in the overall smartphone market.

In his latest newsletter, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman claims we may see "minor price increases across all four models outside of the US."

Gurman also hasn't ruled out a price increase in the United States, at least for the Pro models, due to the "move to titanium and the costlier camera system on the iPhone 15 Pro Max."

Analyst Tim Long, from British bank Barclays, says that based on chatter from the supply chain, the iPhone 15 Pro could be up to $100 more expensive than the iPhone 14 Pro while the iPhone 15 Pro Max could be $100 to $200 more expensive than the iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Digitimes says it's also hearing the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will see their price increase by $100-200.

If you've had your sights set on an iPhone 15 Pro or iPhone 15 Pro Max, but don't want to spend a ton of cash, you may want to consider another device.
