It looks like the move to OLED could help Apple usher in a thinner iPad Pro design in 2024.

According to DigiTimes, the shift to "hybrid" OLED technology could enable the company to deliver a thinner and more lightweight design. We could also see thinner bezels which would lead to more screen real estate.

This rumor has been backed up by Korean publication The Elec which adds a bit more fuel to the fire. 

This would obviously be a plus for those who like to take their iPad on-the-go and for those who want as much screen as possible for multitasking, gaming, and other activities.
