The 2022 iPad Pros provide enough firepower for most people, but the 2024 iPad Pro models should usher in even better performance.

Apple will almost certainly put a new processor inside next iPad Pros which means you can expect the iPad Pro line's performance to take an even bigger step forward in the future. 

Other potential improvements could include a better modem which could enhance connectivity as well as improved front and rear cameras.
