NBA 2K24: Which Edition to Buy? is a post by Adam Mills from Gotta Be Mobile.

If you’re thinking about picking up a copy of NBA 2K24 you’ll want to pick the right edition for your budget and interest level.

NBA 2K24 arrives on September 8th. This is the release date for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, Windows PC, and Nintendo Switch.

As expected, the game comes in many forms, with different cover athletes and different bonuses. Right now there are four NBA 2K24 editions though we could see the company add another down the road.

There’s the NBA 2K24 Kobe Bryant edition which is the game’s standard edition and yes, it has the Los Angeles Lakers legend on the cover. Kobe is also on the cover of the NBA 2K24 Black Mamba edition.

On the NBA 2K24 WNBA edition cover you’ll find New York Liberty star Sabrina Ionescu. And on the game’s 25th Anniversary edition, you won’t see a cover athlete. Instead, there’s a bedazzled ring.

If you decide to pre-order NBA 2K24, you’ll want to select the edition that best suits your needs. Each has its pros and cons and today we want to guide you through each one.

We’ll also tell you about the key differences between a physical and digital copy of the game.

NBA 2K24 Kobe Bryant Edition

This year’s standard edition is called the Kobe Bryant edition. This is the most basic version of the game and it’s also the cheapest format.

If you’re buying the game for PS4, Xbox One, Windows PC, or Nintendo Switch, the NBA 2K24 standard edition retails for $59.99 though you may be able to find a deal ahead of the release date.

If you’re a PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X/S owner, the Kobe Bryant edition is more expensive. It’s $69.99 for these platforms without deal.

If you decide to pre-order a copy of the NBA 2K24 Kobe Bryant edition you get some bonus items that might come in handy during your play through. Here are the NBA 2K24 pre-order bonuses:

Virtual Currency

  • 5K Virtual Currency

MyTEAM Content

  • 5K MyTEAM Points
  • 10x Promo Packs (Delivered 1 Per Week)
  • 95 Rated Kobe Bryant Free Agent Card

MyCAREER Content

  • 5x 6 MyCAREER Skill Boost Types
  • 3x 3 Gatorade Boost Types

So who should buy the standard NBA 2K24 Kobe Bryant edition?

  • Newcomers to the NBA 2K series.
  • People who don’t have a ton of time to play games and aren’t sure how much time they can or want to invest in a basketball simulation.

You can buy the NBA 2K24 standard edition at an assortment of retailers right now including Amazon.

NBA 2K24 WNBA Edition

The NBA 2K24 WNBA edition is virtually identical to the Kobe Bryant edition. The differences are that it only comes in physical form (there’s no way to get it digitally), it’s only available in North America, it’s exclusive to GameStop, and it’s only available for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.

So, the only reason to pre-order this copy is if you own a PS5, Xbox Series X, or Xbox Series S and you really want Sabrina Ionescu on the cover as opposed to Kobe.

NBA 2K24 Black Mamba Edition

The NBA 2K24 Black Mamba edition is a bundle and for $99.99 you get the aforementioned pre-order bonuses and some additional extras:

Virtual Currency

  • 100K Virtual Currency

MyTEAM Content

  • 15K MyTEAM Points
  • 2K24 Starting 5 Draft Box (3x Option Packs):
    • Pick 1 Amethyst (includes PG, SG, SF, PF & C)
    • Pick 1 Ruby (includes PG, SG, SF, PF & C)
    • Pick 3 Sapphires (includes PG, SG, SF, PF & C)
  • 10 Box MyTEAM Promo Packs
  • Cover Star: Sapphire Card Kobe Bryant (24 era)
  • 1 Diamond Shoe
  • 1 Ruby Coach
  • 2-hour Double XP Coin

MyCAREER Content

  • 10x 6 types of MyCAREER Skill Boosts
  • 10x 3 types of Gatorade Boosts
  • 2-hour Double XP Coin

      • Kobe Cover Star T-Shirt (Cover Art 1)
      • Kobe Cover Star T-Shirt (Cover Art 2)

      • Kobe Cover Star T-Shirt (Achievements Design)
  • 2K24 Backpack
  • 2K24 Electric Skateboard
  • 2K24 Arm Sleeves

So who should spend the extra money for the NBA 2K24 Black Mamba edition?

  • People who know they are going to invest a ton of time in NBA 2K24.
  • People who love to customize their character.
  • People who want instant access to a lot of in-game items.
  • People who play more modes than the standard game.

You can buy the NBA 2K24 Black Mamba edition at various retailers including Amazon.

NBA 2K24 25th Anniversary Edition

And then there’s the NBA 2K24 25th Anniversary edition, a $149.99 bundle that comes with the most content. Here’s what it comes with:

Virtual Currency

  • 100K Virtual Currency

MyTEAM Content

  • 50K MyTEAM Points
  • 2K24 Starting 5 Draft Box (3x Option Packs):
    • Pick 1 Amethyst (includes PG, SG, SF, PF & C)

  • 2-hour Double XP Coin
  • 4x MyCAREER T-Shirts, including:
    • Kobe Cover Star T-Shirt (1)
    • Kobe Cover Star T-Shirt (2)
    • WNBA Cover Star T-Shirt
    • Kobe Cover Star T-Shirt (3)
  • 2K24 Backpack
  • 2K24 Electric Skateboard
  • 2K24 Arm Sleeves
  • Black Mamba MyPLAYER Capsule:
    • Black Arm Sleeve
    • Purple Oversized T-Shirt
    • Yellow T-Shirt
    • Kobe Player Panel

A few other caveats: This bundle isn’t available in Belgium and the 12-month subscription to NBA League Pass is not available with the NBA 2K24 25th Anniversary Edition in Japan or China.

Also of note, the NBA League Pass is not available in Belarus, Cuba, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Kosovo, North Korea, Russia, South Sudan, Sudan, Swaziland, or Syria.

This version of NBA 2K24 is aimed at hardcore fans of the NBA and the NBA 2K series.

NBA 2K24: Digital vs. Physical

You’ll also need to decide between a physical or digital version of NBA 2K24.

If you buy the physical version of NBA 2K4, you’ll be able to sell it to a retailer like GameStop for credit toward another game when/if you’re done playing it. You could also sell it on a site like eBay or Craigslist for cash.

Buying a physical copy will also allow you to easily lend the game to a friend, family member, or co-worker if they want to try before buying or if you get sick of playing it.

If you buy the digital version of NBA 2K24, you’ll avoid clutter building up around your entertainment center and you’ll also avoid damaging the disc.

If you often misplace games or have kids who like to hide or fling discs around the house, the digital version of the game is probably the route you’ll want to take.

There’s also added convenience. Instead of digging through a sleeve of games or searching around the house looking for your game disc, you can start up your console and start playing immediately.

And finally, buying the digital version allows you to pre-load the game ahead of its release. Pre-loading lets you to start playing as soon as the game unlocks.

If you buy a physical copy, you won’t get your delivery until the morning, afternoon, or night of September 8th.

Again, the NBA 2K24 WNBA edition is physical only. It doesn’t come in a digital format so keep that in mind if you want to start playing ASAP.

Starfield: Which Edition to Buy? is a post by Adam Mills from Gotta Be Mobile.

If you decide to buy Starfield, you’ll want to choose the right edition for your interest level and budget.

Starfield hits the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Windows PC on September 6th. Remember, Starfield is exclusive to these platforms and it won’t be released for Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 or the Nintendo Switch.

There are several Starfield editions to choose from. There’s a Standard edition, there’s a Premium edition (as well as a Premium edition upgrade), and there’s a collector’s bundle dubbed the Constellation edition.

If you decide to buy a copy, you’ll want to do your homework so you don’t wind up with buyers remorse.

Each edition has its pros and cons and today we want to guide you through each one and tell you about the key differences between a physical and digital copy of the game.

Starfield Standard Edition

The Starfield Standard edition is the most basic version of the game. For $69.99, you get a copy of the game and some bonuses if you order before the game hits shelves.

Here’s the Starfield pre-order bonus. Bethesda calls it the Old Mars Skin Pack and it applies to pre-orders for all versions of the game.

  • Laser Cutter
  • Deep Mining Helmet
  • Deep Mining Pack

Xbox Game Pass members get access to the game on day one. They also get access to the pre-order bonuses included in Starfield Standard edition.

Bethesda says Game Pass members get access to the pre-order content as long as their Game Pass subscription is active, regardless of when they download the game.

Who should buy the standard Starfield standard edition?

  • You plan to play Starfield casually.
  • You don’t care about playing before September 6th.

You can pre-order the Starfield standard edition right now at various retailers including Amazon, Best Buy and GameStop.

Starfield Premium Edition

For those that want a little more from their purchase, there’s the Starfield Premium edition. It’s a $99.99 bundle and it comes with a bunch of extras.

Again, you get the same pre-order bonuses from the Standard edition, but this bundle also comes with the following items:

  • Starfield base game
  • Shattered Space Story Expansion (upon release)
  • Up to 5 days early access
  • Constellation Skin Pack
  • Access to Starfield Digital Artbook & Original Soundtrack

Bethesda notes that early access depends on purchase date and will be subject to possible outages and applicable time zone differences.

So who should opt for Starfield Premium edition?

  • You want to play Starfield ASAP.
  • You plan to invest a lot of time in Starfield.

You can buy the Premium edition right now at various retailers including Amazon.

If you buy the Standard edition, but decide you want the Premium edition, retailers are offering an upgrade for $34.99. This upgrade comes with the content from the Premium edition, but if you order a physical copy of the game, you’ll also get the following items:

  • Steelbook Display Case (when purchased from participating retail stores)
  • Constellation Patch (when purchased from participating retail stores)

You won’t get these items if you buy the digital version of the Premium edition upgrade.

Starfield Constellation Edition

Bethesda also has the Constellation edition, a collector’s bundle aimed at rabid fans of Starfield/Bethesda games. It’s extremely expensive, $299.99, but it comes with a very unique item.

Here’s what you get from the Constellation edition:

  • Starfield base game
  • Shattered Space Story Expansion (upon release)
  • Up to 5 days early access
  • Constellation Skin Pack
  • Access to Starfield Digital Artbook & Original Soundtrack
  • Steelbook Display Case
  • Constellation Patch
  • Credit Stick with Laser-Etched Game Code
  • Starfield Chronomark Watch & Case

The Starfield Chronomark watch LPV6 is an item your character gets in the game and Bethesda’s brought it into the real world with this bundle.

Before you order, note that while the watch will connect to your phone, the device does not transmit phone calls, does not support cellular service, and is not a touch screen device.

This is a bundle aimed at hardcore collectors and fans and should only be bought by enthusiasts. Most people should buy the standard or Premium edition.

Starfield: Digital vs. Physical

Like most games, Starfield comes in physical and digital formats. Here are a few things to consider before you pick one or the other.

If you’re sick of discs cluttering up your house, buy a digital version. You’ll also want to go digital if discs often go missing or get damaged in your home.

If you play a lot of different games, and you don’t want to pull the disc out every time you want to play, go with a digital copy. Downloading a digital copy means you’ll have easy access to the game every time you start up your console.

If you want to play the game ASAP, purchase a digital copy. You can pre-load the game ahead of its release date. Pre-loading will allow you to start playing the second the game is live and potentially avoid long download times on release day.

There are also a few reasons to go with a physical copy of Starfield.

If you purchase a physical copy you’ll be able to sell it to GameStop or put it on sale on a site like Craigslist or eBay if you get tired of playing it.

You’ll also be able to lend your copy out to friends or family members when you decide to move onto another game.

Starfield DLC: 5 Things to Know Right Now is a post by Adam Mills from Gotta Be Mobile.

Bethesda’s revealed the first Starfield DLC expansion and in this guide we’ll take you through everything you need to know about it.

Starfield is a massive game and it has hours and hours, and yes hours, of content. There are over 1000 planets to explore, there are ship dogfights in space, there are factions, and there’s obviously a ton of dialogue with a wide range of characters. There isn’t a lack of things to do.

Of course, Bethesda won’t stop there. Games like Starfield are meant to last years, decades even, and the company will provide a ton of content post-launch.

Some of that content will come in the form of mods. You can expect a robust modding community and mods will help prolong the life of the game.

Bethesda is also planning to release Starfield DLC, or downloadable content, that helps keep the game fresh and expands on the game’s storyline.

Details are a bit scarce at the moment, here’s what we know about Starfield DLC right now.

Starfield Shattered Space

Bethesda hasn’t gone into how exactly it will handle DLC for Starfield, but the company has confirmed the game’s first expansion.

The expansion is called Shattered Space and the company is calling it a “story expansion” which means it will tie-in with the game’s storyline.

Look for the company to reveal more information about the Shattered Space DLC in late 2023 or early 2024.

While Shattered Space will likely serve as the first big piece of Starfield DLC, Bethesda says it plans to release more as time goes on. No surprise there given what the company’s done with previous titles like Fallout 4 and Skyrim.

In an interview with IGN, Todd Howard says the plan is to add a lot more downloadable content. Howard says that much like past games, players can expect DLC of “varying sizes.”

Starfield Shattered Space Release Date

While Shattered Space is confirmed, a release date for the DLC isn’t. The company hasn’t said anything about a date or a release window so there’s no telling how long it will take for the content to arrive.

The company will focus on fixing bugs and performance issues out of the gate so we’d be surprised if the DLC landed anywhere close to the game’s release date.

Bethesda released Fallout 4 in November, 2015. The company then released the game’s first DLC expansion, dubbed Automatron, in March of 2016.

Bethesda could shake things up, but look for the first expansion to drop once players have spent a bit of time exploring the game and once the developer has ironed out some of the game’s more serious bugs.

Starfield Shattered Space Features

Again, Shattered Space is a storyline expansion, but we don’t know how it will continue the plot.

That being said, it’s safe to assume the DLC will include new dialogue and new quests and we could potentially see new characters, planets, weapons, and more.

Bethesda probably won’t confirm these details until we get much closer to the DLC’s release date so we could be flying through space blind for quite awhile.

How to Get Shattered Space

If you plan to put hundreds of hours into Starfield, and you know you’ll want to play the Shattered Space expansion, you can secure access to the expansion pack right now. Here’s how to do that.

Two of Bethesda’s Starfield editions grant you access to the DLC. You’ll need to buy either the Premium edition ($99.99) or the Constellation edition ($299.99). There’s also another way.

If you buy the Starfield Standard edition, but decide you want the content that comes with the Premium edition, retailers are offering an upgrade for $34.99. This upgrade includes access to the DLC and several other bonuses.

Starfield Shattered Space Price

If you don’t want to upgrade to the Premium edition and/or the Constellation edition is too expensive, you’ll almost certainly be able to buy the Shattered Space DLC as a standalone upgrade.

Bethesda hasn’t gone into detail just yet, but there’s nothing to suggest the DLC is exclusive to the Premium edition or Constellation edition. So it’s safe to assume you’ll be able to buy Shattered Space from the Microsoft Store or Steam just like DLC from other games.

We also don’t know if Bethesda is offering a discounted price to those who pre-order these bundles because we don’t know how much Shattered Space will cost as a standalone upgrade.

Again, the Premium upgrade is $34.99 so we’d expect the Shattered Space price to come in a bit cheaper than that given that the upgrade includes additional bonus items.

We won’t know for sure until Bethesda reveals its plans.

Starfield Problems & Fixes is a post by Adam Mills from Gotta Be Mobile.

While we wait for Bethesda’s next update to arrive, we want to help you fix Starfield problems on your Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, or Windows PC.

Starfield has arrived on Xbox and Windows which means we’ve started getting feedback about the game’s performance. It looks like Starfield is mostly stable, but there are still bugs and performance issues plaguing the space RPG.

Bethesda will push Starfield updates with bug fixes and performance enhancements, but patches will be infrequent which means you may need to fix whatever is plaguing your experience on your own.

If you can’t wait for the developer to roll out an update, and you can’t seem to fix an issue on your own, you’re in the right place. In this guide we’re going to show you how to fix the most common Starfield problems.

The list of Starfield problems will continue to grow as more people pickup the game and as Bethesda rolls out new patches to address the current set of problems. We’ll continue to update this guide with new fixes throughout the year.

If you can’t find what you’re looking for here you’ll want to check out other resources like the Starfield Reddit and Bethesda’s support page for the game.

How to Fix Starfield Download Problems

Starfield requires a huge download. If you have a fast Wi-Fi connection, the download should go quickly and may finish up in less than an hour. Those of you with slower connections might have to wait for longer than an hour. In some cases, much longer.

If you think your Starfield download is moving too slowly, try plugging an ethernet cable directly into your Xbox or PC. This could dramatically speed up the download. This is especially true if your device is located far away from your router.

If the download speed doesn’t improve, try restarting your router. Unplug the power cord from your router, wait a minute or two, plug it back in, and try to download the game again.

If the download gets stuck before it reaches 100%, try pausing the download, waiting a few seconds, and trying again. This can may speed up the download as well.

If that doesn’t work, try starting over. Cancel your Starfield download and retry.

If nothing here works, and you need more advice, head over to Microsoft’s site for additional help.

How to Fix Starfield Installation Problems

If you’re having issues installing Starfield on your device, check out its internal storage and make sure it has enough room for the game’s files.

If you’re playing the game on an Xbox, go to the My Games and Apps section and check how much storage you’ve got on your internal/external storage.

If you’re positive you have enough space, but Starfield still won’t install on your device, try shutting off your console or PC completely before trying the installation again.

How to Fix Starfield Freezing Problems

If Starfield suddenly locks up while you’re playing the game, watching a cutscene, or doing something else, you’ll want to save (if you can) and quit to the dashboard. If that doesn’t work, you’ll want to restart your console or PC.

You’ll also want to make sure you’re running the latest version of the game. Updates from Bethesda should help to stabilize the game’s performance.

How to Fix Starfield Performance Problems

If you’re playing Starfield on a Windows PC, and you’re running into performance issues (poor frame rate, bad graphics, etc), you’ll want to check your computer’s hardware and make sure your CPU meets the game’s minimum and/or recommended requirements.

If the hardware doesn’t meet the minimum requirements, there’s your answer. If it doesn’t meet the recommended requirements, you’ll probably need to tone down your settings.

Starfield Minimum PC Requirements:

  • OS: Windows 10 version 22H2 (10.0.19045)
  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 2600X, Intel Core i7-6800K
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: AMD Radeon RX 5700, NVIDIA GeForce 1070 Ti
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Storage: 125 GB available space
  • Additional Notes: SSD Required

Starfield Recommended PC Requirements:

  • OS: Windows 10/11 with updates
  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 3600X, Intel i5-10600K
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Storage: 125 GB available space
  • Additional Notes: SSD Required

Make sure you’re utilizing the latest drivers for your graphics card. If you’re using an AMD graphics card, head here to find the latest drivers. If you’re using an NVIDIA card, head here.

If you’re running into performance issues on an Xbox Series X or Xbox Series S, we recommend restarting the game and/or console.

How to Fix Starfield Crashes

If Starfield is crashing on a regular basis, you’ll want to power cycle your console or Windows PC. Here’s how you power cycle an Xbox:

  • Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.
  • Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

Open up the game and see if the crashes have subsided. If they haven’t, you may need to wait for an update from Bethesda.

How to Fix Starfield Sound Problems

If the game’s sound completely cuts out, you’ll want to close the game and reload it.

If you’re playing the game on a Windows PC, you’ll also want to make sure you’re using a DirectX 12 compatible sound card with the latest drivers installed.

After a lengthy wait, Bethesda’s highly anticipated space RPG has arrived. The game’s global release date for Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Windows is September 6th.

With that in mind, we want to take you through everything you need to know about the Starfield download and installation on Xbox.

Our guide covers the Starfield pre-load, the game’s potential download time, and more. It should help you prepare for the game’s release next month.

Starfield Pre-Load

There are reasons to consider pre-ordering a copy of Starfield. You get bonus items and if you buy a digital copy, you can download the game files early which will allow you to start playing as soon as the game unlocks.

While you can download the full game onto your Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S ahead of its release date, you won’t be able to start playing until the game unlocks on September 6th.

How Long Will Starfield Take to Download?

The Starfield download on Xbox and Windows is 100GB+ which means you’ll need a ton of free space available on your console or PC. Given the size and scope of the game, this shouldn’t be surprising.

If you’re running out of space on your Xbox’s internal storage, use this time to comb through your data and delete files and games you no longer play.

If you’re running out of space and you don’t want to delete files, you’ll want to invest in an external hard drive for your console.

Samsung’s T7 Portable SSD is one of our favorites, the Seagate Game Drive is another solid option, and the WD_BLACK 1TB is worth a look as well.

Mileage will of course vary based on connection speed, but a 100+GB download may take over an hour. For those with slower connections, it could take several hours to complete.

If you’re trying to download Starfield during peak hours, or if you’re using a slower Wi-Fi connection, you’ll need to remain patient.

If you’re curious about how long Starfield might take to download via your connection, you can use this tool to approximate the download time. It’s not an exact science, but it will help you plan ahead and set realistic expectations.

If you’re tired of dealing with slow download speeds, you might want to upgrade your router. If you’re interested in doing that, take a look at routers like the TP-Link Archer AC4000 or Netgear’s Nighthawk AX4 RAX40.

How to Download Starfield on Xbox

There are several ways to download Starfield on your Xbox Series X or Xbox Series S.

The first way is to turn on your Xbox, head to the Store, and search for the game.” You should then see the game’s various editions.

If you haven’t bought a copy yet, you’ll want to select the Starfield edition you want to buy and purchase the game to start the download process.

If you want to download the game while you’re out and about, here’s how to do that.

First, make sure your Xbox has an internet connection. You’ll also need to enable the Always Connected power option in your Xbox settings. Always Connected means your Xbox goes to sleep instead of turning off.

After you’ve done that, follow these instructions:

  • Go to Xbox.com in your web browser.
  • Click on the Sign In link in the top-right corner. For this to work, you must use the same Microsoft Account that’s connected to your Xbox Live gamertag and Xbox.
  • Head to the game’s landing page.
  • Click the “Pre-Order” button.

You can also use Microsoft’s Xbox application on your phone or tablet to initiate the download process. Tap on the Magnifying Glass in the toolbar, search for Starfield, choose your version of the game, and tap the green “Download to Console” button.

When Time Does Starfield Unlock?

Bethesda’s confirmed Starfield’s unlock times for regions around the world. In the image below, you can see the unlock times for both the early release date and the standard release date.

As you can see, if you pre-load the game ahead of time, and you live on the west coast of the United States, you’ll be able to start playing at 5PM on August 31st or September 5th.

4 Reasons to Pre-Order Starfield & 4 Reasons to Wait

NBA 2K24 Preload

How Long Will NBA 2K24 Take to Download?

The NBA 2K24 download is 100GB+ which means you’ll need a ton of free space available on your console or PC.

If you’re running out of space on your consoles internal storage, use this time to go through the data and delete files and games you no longer need.

If you’re running out of storage space and you don’t want to delete files, you’ll probably want to invest in an external hard drive for your console.

NBA 2K24 Release Date & Features: 10 Things to Know is a post by Adam Mills from Gotta Be Mobile.

The NBA 2K24 release date is confirmed and here’s what you need to know right now about NBA 2K24 based on traditions, rumors, confirmed information, and what we expect from the annual release.

NBA 2K23 is still the flagship game, but that will change next month when the newest entry in the long-running 2K series arrives on shelves.

We don’t have every piece of information about the game just yet, but we’ll learn a lot more about NBA 2K24 in the coming weeks as the release date gets closer.

With pre-orders now live, gamers have a lot of questions about NBA 2K24 so we’ll outline everything you need to know about the game in this guide.

Here’s a closer look at what you can expect from NBA 2K24’s features, release date, editions, demo, and more.

NBA 2K24 Release Date

As expected, the NBA 2K24 release date will land in September for all platforms.

The NBA 2K24 release date is confirmed for September 8th and you can expect this date to stick. We don’t expect to see see any delays.

NBA 2K24 Consoles

NBA 2K24 will come to the PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Windows PC, and Nintendo Switch. But that’s not all.

NBA 2K24 will launch on a wide assortment of platforms.

It will also land on Xbox One, Xbox One X, Xbox One S, PS4, PS4 Slim, and PS4 Pro. These aren’t the latest and greatest consoles, and they won’t get the full suite of NBA 2K24 features, but you can play the game on these platforms.

Unfortunately, it looks like the Windows PC version of NBA 2K24 won’t be on par with the version for Xbox Series X and PS5. While games like Madden 24 and even 2K Games’ own WWE 2K23 offer this, NBA 2K won’t

In its FAQ for NBA 2K23, the company said this is something “the team is passionate about and will continue to investigate what is possible for the franchise in the future.” So, perhaps we’ll see this for NBA 2K25.

NBA 2K24 Cover

Kobe Bryant, the late Los Angeles Lakers legend, appears on two versions of the game.

New York Liberty guard Sabrina Ionescu appears on the WNBA version of the game. The game’s other bundle, the 25th Anniversary edition, doesn’t have an athlete on the front cover and instead features a ring.

NBA 2K24 Editions

For now, there are four NBA 2K24 editions. We could see 2K add additional bundles and cover athletes/celebrities down the road, but there are four editions up for pre-order right now:

All four versions come with a copy of the game, but the Black Mamba and 25th Anniversary editions come with bonus content that might be intriguing to those who plan to invest a ton of time in the game. Here’s a quick breakdown:

The Kobe Bryant edition retails for $59.99 for older platforms (Xbox One and PS4) and $69.99 for the Xbox Series X and PS5. The WNBA edition is only available for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S and it retails for $69.99 as well.

As for the other bundles, the Black Mamba edition is $99.99 while the 25th Anniversary edition will cost you a whopping $149.99.

We’ll likely see NBA 2K24 deals emerge in the early going, but most NBA 2K24 deals will likely arrive around Black Friday in November, the holidays in December, and in 2024 as we push toward the inevitable release of NBA 2K25.

NBA 2K24 Features

You can expect numerous improvements and changes with a particular focus on newer platforms like the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PS5. You can also expect a very robust soundtrack.

2K has outlined many of the game’s changes including “ProPLAY” which uses actual footage from NBA games to improve gameplay with moves from the NBA season.

The company says “ProPLAY translates your favorite players’ signature crossovers, spin moves, and jump shots into in-game animations to create the most authentic NBA 2K game yet.”

There is also a Mamba Moments mode which recreates “several of Kobe Bryant’s most dominant and captivating performances” of his career.

The company says you will be able to unleash “Kobe’s unguardable baseline jumpers, technical savvy in the post, and ruthless will to win as you progress through the highlights of his legendary NBA journey.”

2K’s released an in-depth guide covering gameplay that you’ll want to check out. And we’ve also seen the company highlight the game’ MyNBA mode, The W, Mamba Moments, and the new badge system in the popular MyCAREER mode.

  • Mamba Moments – Channel your inner-Mamba Mentality as you recreate Kobe’s most dominant and captivating performances during his rise to global superstardom. Revisit his early career triumphs as a young phenom, and progress through his transcendent journey from elite scorer to one of the greatest players of all time.

  • MyCAREER Heats Up – Take control of your legacy in MyCAREER and ascend from a generational talent to a Hall of Famer, chasing greatness and championships along the way. Explore a stunning tropical backdrop and flex your custom, personalized style in an all new City, rich with optional side quests and sizzling streetball competition.

  • The Game Is Changing – Introducing PROPlay – a groundbreaking new technology that directly translates NBA footage into NBA 2K24 gameplay. PROplay delivers animations and movements via on-court NBA action for a generational leap in authenticity.

  • Manage Your MyTEAM – The classic card-collecting mode is back and loaded with endless hours of customizable fun. Draw from the past and present using today’s All-Stars and all-time legends to form a squad capable of dominating single player and multiplayer modes. MyTEAM features a collection of innovative improvements, including an all-new salary cap mode, while maintaining its signature competitive feel.

Mike Wang has confirmed the death of Quick Drops, an animation in previous iterations of the game that’s extremely difficult to defend against.

The company has also confirmed the return of REP in the game’s MyCAREER mode. REP, like The City content, is only available on PS5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S.

We’ve also seen the game’s soundtrack and apparel confirmed. The soundtrack includes names like Lil Uzi Vert and Kodak Black while brands in the game include New Balance, Palm Angels, and Dreamville.

2K keeps the game fresh with changes throughout its lifespan so we’ll see a steady drip of changes roll out in the second half of 2023 and beyond.

UFC 5 Release Date & Features: 10 Things to Know is a post by Adam Mills from Gotta Be Mobile.

We don’t have an official UFC 5 release date yet, but here’s what you need to know right now about UFC 5 based on traditions, rumors, confirmed information, and what we expect from the annual release.

Its been three years since EA released a new installment in its UFC series, but that will change later this year. The company has confirmed a new entry in the series, dubbed UFC 5, and the game’s big reveal is close.

We don’t have a ton of official news yet and it’ll be a few more days before the game’s revealed in full for Xbox Series X, PS5 and other platforms. That being said, we can outline the important things potential UFC 5 buyers should know right now.

In this guide, we’ll outline what you can expect from UFC 5 features, cover athlete, launch date, release date, editions, pricing and more.

UFC 5 Launch Date

We don’t know who a lot about UFC 5, but one thing we do know is when EA plans to showcase the game for the first time. The company says the game’s full reveal will take place on September 7th.

If you want to sign up to learn more information about UFC 5 straight from the horse’s mouth, you can do so over on EA’s UFC website.

UFC 5 Release Date

Just because the announcement is coming in September doesn’t mean the UFC 5 release date will land in September. It probably won’t.

EA hasn’t confirmed a release date, we’ll get that information on September 7th, but according to Insider Gaming, the title will arrive on October 27th.

EA has confirmed a closed UFC 5 beta and it will give those selected a chance to play parts of the game before it launches for everyone else.

Play UFC 5 Early

You will be able to play UFC 5 several days before its official street date.

If you want to get access to the game ASAP, you’ll need to pay for an EA Play subscription. EA Play will let you play a trial for 10 hours. We may also see an early release date packed into a bundle.

EA Play is $4.99 a month or $29.99 for a year and you save 10% on games and in-game purchases. If you want a little more from your subscription, EA also offers Play Pro which is $14.99 per month or $99.99 for the entire year.

UFC 5 Cover

Israel Adesanya and Jorge Masvidal graced the covers of UFC 4, and one of these men will appear on the UFC 5 cover.

EA’s trailer from Gamescom, which you can see above, confirmed UFC lightweight champion Alexander Volkanovski as a cover athlete, and now the company has revealed the rest of the lineup.

The UFC 5 standard edition will have Alexander Volkanovski and Valentina Shevchenko on the front while the Deluxe edition will feature Israel Adesanya.

UFC 5 Editions

You can expect two UFC 5 editions.

UFC 4 came in two flavors: a Standard edition and a Deluxe edition. EA will utilize a similar format for UFC 5’s editions. Look for UFC 5’s Deluxe bundle to include additional fighters, cosmetics, and UFC points.

UFC 5 Pre-Orders

You can expect UFC 5 to go on sale in September.

It almost goes without saying, but don’t buy any UFC 5 pre-orders from eBay or any other places promising early access to the game right now.

EA will provide shoppers with pre-order bonuses. UFC 5’s pre-order bonuses include legends Fedor Emelianenko, Mike Tyson, and Muhammad Ali. We may see EA confirmed more bonuses when pre-orders go live.

UFC 5 Consoles

UFC 5 will be the first entry of the series to launch on PS5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S. While UFC 4 is playable on those consoles, it launched before those consoles arrived.

EA has a long history of supporting older consoles so it may be a few more years before the company drops support for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

As of right now you can expect UFC 5 to support the following platforms:

  • Xbox Series X
  • Xbox Series S
  • Xbox One
  • Xbox One X
  • Xbox One S
  • PlayStation 5
  • PlayStation 4 Pro
  • PlayStation 4
  • PlayStation 4 Slim

EA’s UFC series hasn’t launched on Windows PC or Nintendo Switch and it looks like UFC 5 will once again skip Windows.

UFC 5 Price

UFC 5 will likely utilize tiered pricing like EA’s Madden and EA FC. We also expect the pricing to fall in line with those games.

The standard version of Madden 24 and EA FC 24 is $69.99 across all platforms so that’s what you should expect from the UFC price right now.

The UFC 5 Deluxe bundle will likely cost somewhere between $70-100.

UFC 5 Features

We don’t know much about UFC 5’s features right now though we now know the game is rated Mature. This is because it will feature more realistic damage and blood pooling on the octagon’s canvas.

You can expect upgrades to graphics and performance (especially with a release on PS5 and Xbox Series X in the cards), and enhancements to the game’s various modes like Career Mode.

UFC 5 Ratings

While we should learn a great deal about UFC 5’s gameplay and game modes in September, we probably won’t get fighter ratings until we get closer to the game’s release date.

The roster will, like UFC 4, feature a mix of current fighters in addition to legends. You can also expect the roster to expand over time.

EA FC 24 Release Date & Features: 10 Things to Know is a post by Adam Mills from Gotta Be Mobile.

The EA FC 24 release date lands in September. Here’s what you need to know about EA’s next soccer game based on confirmed information, and what we expect from EA as more details are released.

FIFA 23 was EA’s last collaboration with FIFA after a 29 year partnership which means the company’s next game won’t be called FIFA 24. Instead, it will be dubbed EA Sports FC 24.

In this guide we’ll outline what you need to know about EA FC 24’s features, cover athletes, release date, editions, pricing and more.

EA FC 24 Release Date

The EA FC 24 release date is officially September 29th, but those who pre-order the FC 24 Ultimate edition will be able to play the game on September 22nd.  Those who subscribe to EA Play will also get to play the game early.

EA Play subscribers and those who pre-order the Ultimate edition can start playing up to seven days early which means the game unlocks on September 22nd.

An EA Play subscription will let you play for 10 hours during a trial and all of your progress should carry over to the final game.

EA Play is $4.99 a month or $29.99 for a year and you save 10% on games and in-game purchases. If you want a little more from your subscription, EA also offers Play Pro which is $14.99 per month or $99.99 for the entire year.

For more about how to play EA FC 24 early, check out our guide.

EA FC 24 Cover

Manchester City striker Erling Haaland graces the cover of the game’s standard edition. He will also be on the Ultimate edition though he’s joined by 30 other players, both female and male, from professional football soccer.

The cover, which you can see in the photo above, features Vinicius Jr, Son Heung-min, David Beckham, Sam Kerr, Zinedine Zidane, Pele, and many other notable names.

EA FC 24 Editions

There are two EA FC 24 editions. There’s a no-frills standard edition and an Ultimate edition with some extras aimed at those who plan to invest a lot of time in the game.

Here are the key differences between the EA FC 24 Standard and Ultimate editions:

EA FC 24 Editions Standard Edition Ultimate Edition

  • Ultimate Team Cover Star Loan for 10 Ultimate Team  matches
  • Two Ambassador Loan Player Pick Items for 5 Ultimate Team matches
  • One Clubs Unlocked PlayerStyles Slot
  • Additional Player Career Personality Points
  • One Manager Career 5-Star Coach available to hire
  • Dual Entitlement

For more about EA FC 24 pre-orders, take a look at our walkthrough. It will help you decide if the game is worth pre-ordering.

EA FC 24 Consoles

EA didn’t drop support for older consoles, allowing those with PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles to play EA FC 24.

EA has a long history of supporting older consoles so it will probably be a few more years before the company drops support for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

That being said, don’t expect the Xbox One and PS4 to get the full suite of features. Those are saved for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S.

EA FC 24 supports the following platforms:

  • Xbox Series X
  • Xbox Series S
  • Xbox One
  • Xbox One X
  • Xbox One S
  • PlayStation 5
  • PlayStation 4 Pro
  • PlayStation 4
  • PlayStation 4 Slim
  • Windows
  • Nintendo Switch

EA FC 24 Price

EA FC 24 Standard Edition costs $69.99, while the Ultimate Edition costs $99.99. There are in-game purchases that make up the bulk of the cost of the game for the most serious players.

We’ve seen some EA FC 24 deals popup already. For instance, those who pre-order EA FC 24 through Best Buy will get a $10 e-gift card.

And if you have an EA Play account, you’ll be able to save the usual 10%.

EA FC 24 Features

The company says that despite the name change, players will get the “same great experiences, modes, leagues, tournaments, clubs and athletes.” This includes the following:

  • Ultimate Team
  • Career Mode
  • Pro Clubs and VOLTA Football
  • 19,000+ players
  • 700+ teams
  • 100+ stadiums
  • Female players included in Ultimate Team for the first time
  • 30 leagues including: Premier League, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Women’s Champions League, La Liga Santander, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, Serie A, CONMEBOL Libertadores, Barclays Women’s Super League, and NWSL.

Here’s a breakdown of some of the biggest changes coming to EA FC 24 later this year. At the launch event, EA didn’t dive into each and every detail about these, so there are still a lot of unknowns.

Hypermotion Technology

  • Driving the biggest leap forward in gameplay authenticity and realism to date, HyperMotionV translates the rhythm and fluidity of real-world football into The World’s Game using volumetric data of more than 180 top-tier matches from competitions like the UEFA Men’s and Women’s Champions League, Premier League and LaLiga EA SPORTS.

PlayStyles

  • Optimised by real-world Opta data and data from other sources, PlayStyles dimensionalise athletes, going beyond overall ratings to bring to life the on-pitch abilities that make players special. Each PlayStyle affects gameplay, giving players unique capabilities you’ll see and feel that make their way of playing more authentic.

Frostbite Engine

  • From more realistic SAPIEN player models to the ripple of their kits as they beat a defender and an elevated matchday experience, the enhanced Frostbite Engine dials up the detail to make every moment in EA SPORTS FC 24 look and feel more like football.

Ultimate Team: Evolutions

  • Develop your very own club legends by improving your players with the brand new Ultimate Team Evolutions. Complete objectives to boost their individual skills, PlayStyles, overall ratings, and even how their Player Items look.

Ultimate Team: Women’s Football

  • Ultimate Team unites both halves of The World’s Game, bringing men’s and women’s football together to play on the same pitch and unlocking a new world of ways to build your dream XI.

Player Career

  • Chart your dream career path with help from the new Player Agent and evolve on the pitch with a reinvented Personality system built around the all new PlayStyles.

Manager Career

  • Lead your club to glory with more control over your tactics, coaches to help you implement your vision, and new training features to get the best out of your squad on matchday.

Crossplay will be an integral part of the EA FC 24 experience and EA’s made some big changes to how the feature works. Perhaps the biggest change is the fact that crossplay is now included in all multiplayer game modes:

  • Clubs
  • Co-Op Season
  • VOLTA FOOTBALL (Arcade, Squads)
  • Ultimate Team Co-Op (Squad Battles, Rivals, Friendlies)
  • Ultimate Team (Rivals, Champions, Online Draft, Online Friendlies, Play a Friend)
  • Online Friendlies
  • Online Seasons

EA’s also revealed the game’s Heroes, legendary players that will be in the game’s Ultimate Team mode. Here’s the full list of names:

  • Alex Scott (England WSL)
  • Bixente Lizarazu (Bundesliga)
  • Carlos Tévez (Premier League)
  • Dimitar Berbatov (Bundesliga)
  • Gianluca Vialli (Serie A)
  • Jari Litmanen (Eredivisie)
  • John Arne Riise (Premier League)
  • Ludovic Giuly (La Liga)
  • Nadine Keßler (Germany Frauen Bundesliga)
  • Nwankwo Kanu (Eredivisie)
  • Paulo Futre (Liga Portugal)
  • Rui Costa (Serie A)
  • Sonia Bompastor  (D1 Arkema)
  • Tomáš Rosický (Bundesliga)
  • Wesley Sneijder (Serie A)

EA FC 24 Ratings

You can also expect new player ratings for current and historical players.

We’ve seen predictions and fake leaks, but we haven’t seen any official EA FC 24 player ratings emerge yet. EA will detail those in the buildup to the game’s release in September. We’ll let you know when we learn more.

EA FC 24 Mobile

We expect EA to bring a major update to its app for iPhone, iPad, and Android.

The mobile version, while robust, is a toned down version of the game. However, unlike the full blown version, it’s free to play on these platforms.

We also expect EA to launch a new companion app for EA FC 24.

EA FC 24 PC Requirements

If you plan to play EA FC 24 on a Windows PC, you’ll want to take note of the game’s minimum and recommended requirements. Here’s how they stack up:

EA FC 24 Minimum Requirements

10 Things to Do Before Starfield Arrives is a post by Adam Mills from Gotta Be Mobile.

With the Starfield release date fast approaching for Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Windows PC, it’s time to start preparing for its arrival. Here, we outline a few things we think buyers need to do ahead of the game’s arrival in September.

After several delays, Bethesda is finally ready to release Starfield, the company’s first new developed intellectual property in over 25 years. It’s arguably the most anticipated game of the year.

The Starfield release date is confirmed for September 6th though you can play it up to five days early if you pre-order a specific bundle.

We’re just days away from its arrival which means it’s time to start prepping. This goes for those who have pre-ordered and those who are on the fence right now.

With that in mind, we want to take you through a few things that will help players and prospective buyers in the run up to Starfield’s release date in early September.

Check On Your Order

Make sure you keep tabs on your Starfield pre-order. You’ll want to ensure your order status is still correct so you avoid release date headaches.

Dig into your pre-order and make sure your delivery information is up-to-date. If you’ve moved recently, you may have forgotten to change your address so be sure you do that.

You’ll also want to make sure your payment information is correct because companies that didn’t charge you up front will start charging for pre-orders as we get close to the release. If you’re excited about the game the last thing you want is for your payment to bounce.

If you pre-ordered a Starfield Constellation edition, be extra careful. This bundle is extremely hard to find and if you want it on your doorstep in early September, you’ll want to make sure everything is in order.

This is especially true now that Walmart has reportedly started cancelling some Constellation edition pre-orders. It’s unclear as to why though it’s certainly possible the retailer oversold its stock. We’ll let you know when we learn more.

Track Constellation Edition Stock

If you haven’t managed to track down the Starfield Constellation edition yet, and you really want the collector’s bundle, track its stock as we push toward the game’s arrival.

We haven’t seen a ton of new stock emerge in July, but we could certainly see retailers offer additional bundles as orders get cancelled or they find/get additional stock in their warehouse.

We’ve put together a guide that will help you track the Constellation edition stock and it’s worth a look if you’re interested in getting the bundle for release day delivery.

Pre-Load Starfield

If you want to jump into Starfield’s world ASAP, you’ll want to buy a digital copy of the game. This allows you to pre-load the game ahead of its release date.

If you wait until release day to download the game, you may run into abnormally long download times as players slam servers with requests.

The Starfield pre-load started on August 17th for Xbox and Windows. It begins on August 30th for Steam. For more about the pre-load and Starfield download, check out our guide.

Bethesda’s confirmed Starfield’s unlock times for regions around the world. If you pre-load the game, and you live on the west coast of the United States, you’ll be able to start playing at 5PM on August 31st/September 5th.

Buy an External Hard Drive/SSD

Starfield require a huge chunk of space on your platform’s storage. If you have a ton of available space on your internal storage, you should be good to go. If you don’t, it might be a good idea to invest in an external hard drive.

There are a ton of options out there, but the Samsung T7 Portable SSD is one of our favorites. You’ll also want to check out the WD My Passport 4TB.

If you plan to play the game on a Windows PC, note that Starfield requires an SSD to play. This is mandatory and not optional for PC gamers.

So if you’re rocking an HDD, you’ll need to upgrade your rig. We recommend taking a look at the Samsung 990 PRO Series or the WD_BLACK 1TB SN850X.

Can My PC Run Starfield?

If you’re planning to play Starfield on a Windows PC, you’ll obviously want it to both run and look as good as possible. And that’s why you need to take note of the game’s minimum and recommended PC requirements.

Starfield Minimum PC Requirements:

  • OS: Windows 10 version 22H2 (10.0.19045)
  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 2600X, Intel Core i7-6800K
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: AMD Radeon RX 5700, NVIDIA GeForce 1070 Ti
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Storage: 125 GB available space
  • Additional Notes: SSD Required

Starfield Recommended PC Requirements:

  • OS: Windows 10/11 with updates
  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 3600X, Intel i5-10600K
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Storage: 125 GB available space
  • Additional Notes: SSD Required

Make sure you dig into your computer’s specifications, especially if you don’t consider yourself an expert, to ensure your rig meets or surpasses these specifications.

There are websites out there that will tell you if your PC can run it and you may also want to consult other gamers on social media sites like Reddit.

Look Into a Starfield Premium Upgrade

If you purchase the Starfield standard edition, but decide you want the bonuses from the Premium edition, retailers are offering a Premium upgrade for $34.99.

For the uninformed, here’s what the Premium edition gets you:

  • Starfield base game
  • Shattered Space Story Expansion (upon release)
  • Up to 5 days early access
  • Constellation Skin Pack
  • Access to Starfield Digital Artbook & Original Soundtrack

Shattered Space is a DLC pack. We don’t know much about it right now, but our guide will take you through what you need to know about Starfield DLC right now.

Find Starfield Deals

We haven’t seen a ton of Starfield deals emerge in the buildup to the game’s release date, though we have seen sites, Green Man Gaming for instance, take 15% off the price of a copy for Windows PC.

We will see sporadic deals in the hours ahead so make sure you shop around before you click or tap buy. Monitor sites like Slickdeals for price cuts and other offers.

Prepare for Bugs

Bethesda claims Starfield has the fewest bugs of any game it has ever shipped. That’s great news, but it doesn’t mean the game will be bug free.

There are going to be Starfield problems, particularly at launch. This is a huge, complex game with lots of moving parts and bugs and performance issues are part of the deal.

Before the Starfield release date arrives, we highly recommend tracking down a place to find fixes for problems. A few places come to mind.

Bethesda’s support site is a great place to bookmark in your browser ahead of the release date. So is the Starfield Reddit. Those two will be excellent resources when Starfield bugs and performance issues emerge.

If you’re buying the PC version of Starfield, make sure you bookmark the Steam forums as well. There will be a ton of discussion there.

Read Up on Starfield’s Skills

If you don’t mind spoilers, you’ll want to get acquainted with the different Starfield skills ahead of the game’s release.

Picking the right skills could be crucial to your Starfield experience and the more you know about them ahead of time the better off you’ll be. Of course it’s sometimes fun to make mistakes and learn from them, but not everyone has time for that.

If you want to read up on Starfield’s skills, head here. You’ll also want to take a look at this thread from a user on Reddit. They spent 200+ hours putting together what they believe is the complete skill system.

Decide Which Platform to Play On

A few other tidbits for those of you trying to decide which platform to play on.

On console, Starfield will be locked at 30FPS. The game will have a 4K output resolution on the Xbox Series X and 1440p on the Xbox Series S.

If you want to play Starfield at 60 frames per second, you’ll need to buy the PC version of the game. If you’ve always wanted to buy or build a gaming PC or laptop, now might be the time.

If you don’t have an Xbox yet, note that Microsoft is planning to release a new 1TB carbon black Xbox Series S on September 1st, just in time for Starfield.

It’s $50 more ($349.99) than the standard Series S, but that extra storage space could come in handy.

4 Reasons to Pre-Order Starfield & 4 Reasons to Wait

Pre-Order Starfield for These Bonuses

Pre-Order Starfield for These Bonuses

Starfield pre-orders come with some bonus items.

Bethesda calls the Starfield pre-order bonus the Old Mars Skin Pack and it applies to pre-orders for all versions of the game.

The Old Mars Skin Pack includes the following items:

  • Laser Cutter
  • Deep Mining Helmet
  • Deep Mining Pack

If you want access to these items, you'll want to pre-order a copy of the game before it arrives in early September.
